Puppet Parade

For my puppet parade, I told the story of Little Red Riding Hood. The scenery that was used was a castle made of recycled materials, a diorama of a bedroom scene, and a poster board of woods with 3-D trees. The class became involved in the story by when I held up selected pictures, the students would say the word of the pictures or make the noise that relate to the pictures.

A story using Microsoft Power Point

For my power point story, I told the story of how to carve a pumpkin while wearing silly socks.

Find The Perfect Pumpkin while wearing your silly socks.
Use the pencil or marker to draw a circle around the pumpkin's stem. This will be the jack-o'-lantern's lid. Cut along the line using a boning knife. Remove the lid from the pumpkin and cut or scrape away any pulp that is hanging from it. Remove the pulp from the pumpkin using a spoon or your hands. Scrape the inside of the pumpkin clean with the spoon or ice cream scoop.
Sketch the jack-o'-lantern's face on the surface of the pumpkin.
Use a paring knife to cut along each line. Use your finger to push the cut-out pieces out of the pumpkin. Wow, A Jack-o'-lantern!

Story board

For my story board, I made the life cycle of a butterfly. I used printed pictures and attached them to black construction paper.

Imaginative Art Game

For my art game, It is entitled, "Lucky's Rainbow" and this can be yours for a low price of $49.99.

Players: 2-4
Age: 7-9

Objective: Help Lucky the Leprechaun by mixing paint to make the colors needed.

Lucky is waiting for a perfect day to make a rainbow appear in the sky. Lucky waited so long, that he forgot what colors he needs to make each color of the rainbow. You can help Lucky by telling him what colors he needs to mix to make the colors for his rainbow.


Directions:
Roll a dice to see who starts the game. Pick a rainbow question card and answer the question using the color squares. You can check your answer with the matching answer cards. If your answer is correct you can move ahead one space. The first one who makes it to the end of the rainbow wins.

A castle using recyclable materials

For my castle, I used a styrofoam for the base. I also included toilet paper rolls, beads, cardboard, construction paper, pipe cleaner, index cards, and spray paint.

ABC's of Transportation

For my ABC book, I used the theme of transportation.
A is for Airplane
B is for Bus
C is for Car

Clay Creations

For my clay creation, I made an friendly animal. To bring out the animal's character I used pipe cleaners for the legs and wiggly eyes.

For my clay creation, I made a simple heart, to show everybody should love one to another.
