Free Standing Art & Painting With Music

For my painting with music picture, I painted whatever I felt went best to the beat of the music using watercolors.

For my free standing painting, I used cotton swabs and watercolors.

Integrated Art Projects - Science & Art

For my art integrated Science project, I made a mobile of bugs and insects. This can be used in the classroom after the study of bugs and insects.
The materials I used were construction paper, string, markers, paper towel roll, and glue.

For my art integrated Math project, I made a clay snake in a shape of a square. I also colored different shapes and used materials that can be found around the house to make a shapes. This project will be great for learning about shapes. I also included a book that can be read before you start your project.
The materials I used were clay, crayons, beads, pipe cleaner, and a popsicle sticks.

My Painting Technique

For my painting technique, I used cotten balls to paint a flower.

Diorama

For my diorama, I used the topic of littering, and the main message was "Don't be a tosser". The scene was of a car driving down the street throwing paper out their car to add to all the other trash that drivers have left to add to pollution.

The materials that I used were construction paper, popsicle sticks, sticks from outside, notebook paper, glue, tape and a toy sheep and car.

My World Drawing

For my world drawing, I created the way I see the world on an everyday basics and what surrounds my world for survival. I view the world through glasses, even though the public eye can't see my glasses , only my contacts. In the left lens I drew a school, because that's is my past present and future, the only thing I know and love, which is teaching in an elementary school. In the right lens I made a border off all my favorite things to do or eat. I also drew a heart with my family around it. My family is my foundation and they helped me become the young lady that I am today. I also feel to survive in my world I need God, friends, love, family, faith, and knowing that I will be a future educator.

The materials that I used to create my world were crayons and I choose colors that complimented each other, like purple and yellow.

Mixed Media Landscape

For my mixed media landscape, I used white drawing paper to draw my picture, along with oil pastels for my tree, clouds, birds, grass and flowers. For my blue sky I used tempera paint and mixed the colors blue and white.

Self Portait Collage

For my self portrait, I wanted to use materials that I felt represented my physical features as well as things I like. I use black felt paper to represent by hair color and texture. I used wiggly eyes to put emphasis that I have big eyes. I used a red pipe cleaner to put emphasis that I'm always smiling. I used markers and crayons to draw my face. Since I enjoy reading magazines I used clippings from a magazine for my nose and eyebrows. For the background I cut out pictures of the beach and ocean to place in the background because I love looking out at the beach, it gives me a feeling of being calm and relaxed.

Bead Necklace

For my necklace, I used construction paper and real beads to make the necklace. For my pendant I used a printed picture of a teacher which is also an angel. Teachers are truly angels and I feel to teach is to touch a life forever.
